Reduced risk of cross-contamination
The elevator area of a duodenoscope is one of the most difficult components to clean. The development of the disposable elevator cap (DEC™) design makes hygiene in this area a lot easier by integrating the elevator into the disposable distal end cap of the duodenoscope. As a result, the DEC ensures a reduced risk of cross-contamination through better surface access for cleaning of the distal end, without compromising the therapeutic performance.
Outstanding visualisation
The Slim DEC™ Duodenoscope delivers outstanding visualisation supported by a combination of HD imaging, a 15° retroflexed view, and a more flexible insertion tube for proper positioning to cannulate during ERCP in narrow anatomies.
