Medneo UK has announced the acquisition of Fairford Medical's fleet of MRI and CT scanners, a move that strengthens its ability to support the NHS in addressing rising demand for diagnostic imaging services.
The transaction marks medneo's first acquisition since being backed by CVC DIF, the infrastructure strategy of leading global private markets manager CVC in August 2024. It also represents the first stage in an ambitious programme of expansion for medneo, which is focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centred diagnostic services across the UK.
For medneo, this transaction represents the beginning of a long-term expansion strategy, underpinned by investment in technology, people, and partnerships.
By integrating Fairford Medical's fleet, medneo will increase its national footprint and add much-needed capacity, helping to reduce waiting times and improve patient access to essential diagnostic care.
