FUJIFILM Healthcare UK Limited (HCUK) has announced the acquisition of Aquilant Endoscopy Limited's (AEL) British endoscopy business. This strategic move sees all Fujifilm capital equipment, Fujifilm's proprietary endotherapeutic and accessory devices, and therapeutic endoscopy portfolio offered by FUJIFILM medwork GmbH successfully transferred to HCUK.
The acquisition aligns with Fujifilm's strategy to offer a total healthcare solution, building on its existing portfolio of diagnostic imaging technologies across MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, in-vitro diagnostics, mammography – and now endoscopy to reinforce the company’s presence.
